info-hub
Information Hub: a personal content library and feed organizer for articles, videos, podcasts, books, films, and shows.
Application purpose
The purpose of info-hub is to help users collect content they already want to read, watch, or listen to and organize it into a private library. info-hub combines saved content, subscriptions, search, folders, tags, progress tracking, and recommendations so users can manage their media and learning queue from one place.
What Information Hub does
info-hub is a personal knowledge organizer that brings your articles, videos, podcasts, books, films, and shows together in one place. You can save content from many sources, search and tag it, sort it into folders, and prioritize everything you want to read, watch, and listen to — all in a single library and feed.
- Save articles, videos, podcasts, books, films, and shows to a personal library
- Subscribe to RSS feeds, YouTube channels, and Spotify podcasts in one feed
- Organize with folders, tags, ratings, and read/watch status
- Search your library and get recommendations across all your content
Why info-hub requests Google and YouTube data
If you choose to connect your Google account, info-hub connects to your YouTube
account in read-only mode using the youtube.readonly permission. With your
consent, it reads:
- your liked and saved YouTube videos, and
- the channels you are subscribed to,
so it can display those videos and subscriptions in your feed and let you add them to your library alongside your other content. info-hub only reads this data to provide these user-facing library and feed features. It never modifies your YouTube account, does not use the data for advertising, and does not sell or transfer it. You can disconnect or revoke access at any time from your Google Account permissions. Our use of Google user data complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
